• This cleaning kit for universal cleaning of drill holes, drains on sunroofs, panoramic roofs, doors, tailgates, fuel filler cap seals, and much more consists of:
  
  • Each set includes a flexible, nylon-tipped brush with a diameter of 13 mm and 22 mm, attached to a 2.5 m long flexible stainless steel shaft. These are suitable for cleaning drains, hoses, and pipes clogged with deposits.
  • A flexible nylon wire, 5 m long. Metal inserts are attached to both ends to allow for piercing blockages.
• Leaks in panoramic or sunroofs are often caused by clogged drain hoses. The water collects in the cassette and then runs over the frame into the interior or behind the headliner. Water also frequently enters the firewall or the plenum chamber in the engine compartment through leaves, dirt, and pine needles, via the cabin air filter, blower frame, or wiring harnesses, potentially leading to damage to control units, for example.
• During professional maintenance, the water drains should also be checked.
  
• If water is not draining properly, they should be cleaned. Blowing through them with compressed air can cause the hoses to slip off. Therefore, drain hoses are best cleaned with a cleaning brush to break up any blockages.
  
• After removing the blockages, the drains should be flushed with water (without pressure).
• NOTE: For cleaning sliding or panoramic sunroof cassettes, we recommend using our grease blocks (if specified in the manufacturer's maintenance schedule) and subsequent lubrication with our solid lubricant paste.
• Use as: as an alternative to VAG 6620.
